The questions are varied and include discussion questions, research, planning of experimental procedures and consolidation of prior learning. The questions clearly reflect the fact that the book is aimed at higher tier pupils and provide excellent extension material. At the end of each section are series of activities. Again the activities are interesting and varied, consisting of comprehension exercises and excellent ICT activities... My pupils' reactions to the book was very favourable. In particular they liked the use of colour to highlight the questions and the high quality diagrams... I really liked the frequent boxed study questions, which can be used to provide homework, and the range of activities for each section...
