Sinopsis
You have to see what's through and under and over and behind things. You have to pay real attention. Tom, an aging music executive, retiree and sailor meets Clare, a young, beautiful and somewhat mysterious woman on the quays of a Sicilian port. The two strangers share an unpredictable voyage around the Mediterranean Sea. As their voyage together takes its twists and turns, the destination turns out to be very different to what either of them expected, and will change both of their lives forever. Making Way is no ordinary love story; it is more than that. It is about joy and pain; life and loss; who we are and what really matters to us. Acerca del autor
Poet, editor and essayist, Theo Dorgan is also a broadcaster, translator and scriptwriter. The 2010 recipient of the Lawrence O’Shaughnessy Prize for Irish Poetry (USA), his poems have been published in many languages. He has written two prose books already considered classics of the sea – Nobel laureate Doris Lessing called Sailing from Home “a book for everyone”. He is a member of Aosdána, born in Cork and now living in Dublin.
